Allendale United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on.
UPDATE: Now that the shutdown is ending, we will pass along the gift cards collected to agencies affected, as back pay will take time to arrive. Thank you for your participation to help those in need.**
During the government shutdown, Allendale UMC will be collecting gift cards for the workers affected the hardest by the government shutdown. This will be ongoing until the shutdown ends.
Suggested gift cards are Visa, American Express, grocery, gas station, Target, Walmart, etc. in any increment.
These can be dropped off at the green office door located on Haines Rd Monday-Thursday: 7 AM-3 PM.
