Q1 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Saline County?

There were six offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Saline County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that five men and one woman were released in Saline County. The median age of the parolees was 39. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2015, and the oldest was a 54-year-old woman sentenced for a property crime in 2014.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Claudia J. Oldani. She was convicted of a property crime in 2014 when she was 49 years old. She is now 54.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
