Q3 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Saline County?

There were 13 offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Saline County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that 11 men and two women were released in Saline County. The median age of the parolees was 29. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2015, and the oldest was a 38-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Darryl W. Hall. He was convicted of a property crime in 2012 when he was 26 years old. He is now 33.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter in each Saline County municipality.
