There was one offender released on parole during the first quarter living near Illinois zip code 62869, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Menard zip code. The 29-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a property crime in 2015 when he was 25 years old.
