Analysis: Eldorado pays $3.02 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Eldorado Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 75.1 percent of the $122,971 the Eldorado Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.02 for every $1 from pension members, according to a SE Illinois News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Eldorado contributed $92,399 to the fund, which saw a $10,523 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $30,572, or 24.9 percent, in 2018.
