Ferrell Hospital issued the following announcement on Aug. 20
Kristin Parks, MHA, BSN, RN, CRHCP, Ferrell Hospital Clinic Practice Manager, was named to the 2021-2023 Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) Board of Directors. In her new role, Parks will support the organization and its mission to strengthen health systems for rural residents and communities through advocacy, education, networking and leadership. Her term will begin September 1, and she will serve for 3 years.

First organized in 1989, the Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) is a collaborative association 501 (c-3) non-profit organization, compromised of over 750 members including hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, public health departments, clinicians, educators, industry consultants, consumers and public officials.
