Carmi Chamber of Commerce Chamber recently issued the following announcement.
Reservations still being accepted for annual dinner
The 77th Annual Dinner will be held on Monday, October 4th at the White County VFW. Invitations have been mailed out and include a dinner RSVP and an advertisement opportunity for chamber members.
RSVP due by Friday, September 24, 2021. Advertisement Opportunity due by Monday, September 27, 2021.

Carmi Family Dental's Free Dental Day planned for October 1st
1. No appointments can be made in advance
2. Patients must be 18 years or older without dental insurance (medical card does not apply)
3. Be prepared to wait in line, it may take a while to get inside
4. Bring a list of any medications/supplements that you take
5. Masks ARE required. They will NOT be provided for you
At the 2020 Free Dental Day the Doctors and staff of Carmi Family Dental were able to care for 124 patients- totaling over $25,000 in services and treatment donated!

Carmi Christmas Elves are looking for sponsors and are already spreading Christmas Cheer
Guess what time it is!! It is time to start thinking about a sponsorship for a loved one or your business for the Carmi Christmas Elves' Christmas Lights of Hope drive-through light display!!
~The minimum sponsorship is $150. This can get you a memorial candy cane or another small item with a sign in memory of someone.
~Santa's Helper $500 or less
~Jingle Bell Sponsor $500 to $1500
~Silver Bell Sponsor $1500- $2500
~Gold Bell Sponsor $2500 or more
Contact the Christmas Lights of Hope Facebook page or one of our executive board members (Lance Yearby, Amber Knight, Kristin Prince or Cynthia Attebury) for detailed information regarding what you get with each level of donation!
The Elves, along with Shoe Sensation, recently provided around 700 students from White County schools with new shoes, socks, and a school themed shirt. The Christmas Elves want to express their thanks to all light display sponsors, the hundreds of generous visitors of the Christmas Lights of Hope display at the Carmi Fairgrounds, and the White County Fair Board, for without each and every one of them none of this would be possible.
