Illinois gubernatorial candidate and Sen. Darren Bailey recently took to Facebook to ask for volunteers to help with his campaign.

Bailey thanked his supporters in the Facebook post, which also served as a call to action for voters to organize against incumbent Gov. J.B. Pritzker.

"We are so thankful for our thousands of motivated volunteers across the state who continue to knock doors, make calls, and show up to support our movement," Bailey said on Facebook. "We are needing your help for a major push this Saturday. Will you help us fire Pritzker, reform Springfield and restore Illinois? Trafalgar Group, a polling and survey company that accurately predicted former President Donald Trump's 2016 victory, forecast that voters in Illinois are likely to support Bailey as governor, Prairie State Wire reported.

"These results are because of YOU," Bailey said on Facebook. "The Trafalgar Group accurately predicted Trump's win in 2016 and more."

Bailey has proposed several solutions to alleged election integrity issues, such as an election integrity task force, a yearly evaluation of voter rolls, mail-in-ballot tracking for individual voters, a random audit of voter signatures on ballots and required IDs for voters, Prairie State Wire reported.

"Friends, it's important that we ensure election integrity," Bailey said on Facebook. "The best way we can do that is having trained poll watchers. Please sign up to join our Election Integrity Task Force. We have some great volunteers who will train you and ensure you can be successful in help secure our elections."

Bailey has also spoken out against abortion rights and brandished his pro-life credentials.

"When other candidates in this race are hiding and refusing to say where they stand, I'm proud to stand to protect life," Bailey said on Facebook. "I am proudly pro-life and endorsed by every major pro-life group in the state. I have stated from the beginning that I would help and promote policies and groups that help empower women with real options and save lives."

Longtime Republican donor Dick Uihlein has contributed over $3.5 to Bailey's campaign in three donations: $2.5 million last year, $1 million in February, and $25,000 in April, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
