The Harrisburg City Council met on April 28, 2023 at 8:00 am at the Harris-Pruett Building at 107 E. Church Street, City Hall, Harrisburg, Illinois.
Mayor John McPeek presided over the adjourned meeting with Commissioners Raymond Gunning and Ron Morse answering roll call. Commissioners Roger Angelly and Rupert Johnson was absent.
Treasurer Alex Jackson presented the line item transfers to council. Commissioner Ron Morse asked if any departments went over their budget. Treasurer Alex Jackson reported the Street/Alley Department and Police Department were over budget. She stated the Police Department went over due to software purchase, and the Street/Alley was over due to cemetery, Harrisburg lake and capital assets. However, with the line item adjustments the budget did not did not go over.
Commissioner Ron Morse the motion to approve the 2022/2023 Year End Budget Adjustments as presented by Treasurer Alex Jackson. Seconded by Commissioner Raymond Gunning . A roll call vote was taken with all voting yes. Motion carried.
Mayor John McPeek made the motion to adjourn. Seconded by Commissioner Raymond Gunning. A roll call vote was taken with all present voting yes. Motion carried.
