CONSENT AGENDA

1. Accept checks from the Hamilton County Health Department for the month of February 2024. Salaries: $9,213.00 Fringes: $965.03 Insurance: $1199.81 Unemployment: $268.10.

2. Accept check # 6009648 in the amount of $354,458.86 from Hamilton County Coal, LLC for the product of leases dated 12/01/2007 and 11/01/2008.

3. Accept check # 45475 in the amount of $4,166.67 from the City of McLeansboro per the Central Dispatching agreement for the month of February 2024.

4. Accept check #57491799 in the amount of $6,680.97 from IPMG for the claim on the Highway Building break in incident on 02/05/2024. Payment for Aaron Perryman to replace personal items lost was also received.

5. Review the Hamilton County Unit #10 1% school facilities tax schedule in the amount of $52,386.49.

6. Review the Hamilton County Public Safety Tax Payment received in the amount of $52,632.11. This is liability MO- Dec 2023, Collected MO- Jan 2024 Vouchered MO- Mar 2024.

7. Review the request from the Men’s Health Network to issue a proclamation naming June as Men’s Health Month.

8. Review the invitation from Dan Luttrell with IPMG for the ICRMT Annual Member Conference.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Discussion and possible approval: University of Illinois Extension FY 2025 agreement with the County & program updates presented by Angie Messmer, County Extension Director.

2. Discussion and possible approval: Resolution #2024-03-01 declaring that Hamilton County will not spend or accept local tax dollars on the immigration crisis for migrants and or/asylum seekers entering Hamilton County.

3. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2024-03-01 pertaining to a donation of remaining ARPA funds for the 2024 Kiwanis Fall Festival in the amount of $5,361.45.

4. Discussion and possible approval: The request from County Clerk, Heather Bowman, for authorization to pay the Election Judges and other Election workers for the 2024 General Primary Election.

5. Discussion and possible approval: The Claims List, Late Claims, and Highway Claims with signatures of approval.

HIGHWAY RECOMMENDATION

6. Discussion and possible approval: To allow the expenditure of $130,000.00 from the Coal fund to treat additional Oil & Chip roads not budgeted in the MFT.

APPOINTMENTS

7. Approve the re-appointment of John Chapman to the Southeastern Illinois Regional Planning & Development Commission for a (3) year term to expire March 18, 2027.
