City of McLeansboro Township Board met March 12.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The regular monthly meeting of the McLeansboro Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Clydus Gray. The meeting was held on March 12th, 2024 at the Township building.

There were no public comments.

Attending the meeting, as guests, were High School seniors Rachel Wuebells and Riley Jones. Minutes of the Previous Meeting

As called for, the minutes from the February 2024 meeting were read by the Clerk. As noobjections were made, a motion to accept the minutes, as written, was made by Becky Crossand seconded by Bob Brockett. Motion carried.

Old Business:

There was no old business to discuss.

New Business:

Town Meeting Agenda

As required, the proposed agenda for the April 9th, 2024 annual town meeting was presented to the Board for review. Motion to approve the agenda was made by Clydus Gray and secondedby Becky Cross. Motion carried.

Cemetery Board Approval

At the February 2024 meeting of the Cemetery Board, Bob Prince was tentatively approvedtoserve an additional 6-year term on the board. If approved, his term will begin on April 1st, 2024and well end on March 3rd, 2030. A motion to formally approve the appointment was madeby

Dennis Johnson and seconded by Becky Cross. Motion Carried.

Monthly Claims

- Road and Bridge Fund, Building and Equipment Fund and Permanent Road Fundclaimswere provided to the Board for review. Motion to pay those bills was made by BobBrockett and seconded by Dennis Johnson. Motion Carried.

- Town Fund and Social Security Fund claims were also presented to the Board. Amotionto pay those bills was made Bob Brockett and seconded by Dennis Johnson. That motion also carried.

There being no further business to conduct, motion to adjourn was made by Bob Brockett andseconded by Becky Cross. Motion Carried.
