CONSENT AGENDA
1. Accept checks from the Hamilton County Health Department for the month of March 2024. Salaries: $8,822.00 Fringes: $924.36 Insurance: $1199.81 Unemployment: $155.10.
2. Accept check # 6009788 in the amount of $180,295.20 from Hamilton County Coal, LLC for the product of lease dated 11/01/2008.
3. Accept check # 45639 in the amount of $4,166.67 from the City of McLeansboro per the Central Dispatching agreement for the month of March 2024.
4. Review the Hamilton County Unit #10 1% school facilities tax schedule in the amount of $47,759.95.
5. Review the Hamilton County Public Safety Tax Payment received in the amount of $47,912.84. This is liability MO- Jan 2024, Collected MO- Feb 2024 Vouchered MO- April 2024.
6. Approve the FY 24 first quarter claim in the amount of $5,349.35 submitted by Dr. Beth Rister, ROE District #20 Superintendent.
7. Approve Resolution #2024-04-01 pertaining to the surrender of tax sale certificate #3313 for permanent parcel # 15-08-179-001 in the name of Evelyn Burney. (Certificate sold at the December 2020 tax sale to the Hamilton County Trustee Program)
8. Approve Resolution #2024-04-02 pertaining to the surrender of tax sale certificate #3310 for permanent parcel # 15-08-154-002 in the name of Elliott Burney for Steve Castleman. (Certificate sold at the December 2020 tax sale to the Hamilton County Trustee Program)
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Discussion and possible approval: Letter of Commitment for the Discover Downstate Illinois Tourism in the amount of ____________ to be taken out of #_________.
2. Discussion: Kevin Kern with Snedeker Risk Management, insurance update.
3. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2024-04-01 amending Ordinance #2024-03-01 for the 2024 Kiwanis Fall Festival donation.
4. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2024-04-02 pertaining to unauthorized camping.
5. Discussion and possible approval: Ordinance #2024-04-03 amending the Hamilton County Budget for FY24.
6. Discussion and possible approval: The request from Patricia Irvin, D/B/A Patti’s Place, for a refund in the amount of $1,750.00 for the Class A Liquor License approved at the February 20, 2024 Hamilton County Board Meeting. Request received prior to the effective date of the license.
7. Discussion and possible approval: The Claims List, Late Claims, and Highway Claims with signatures of approval.
HIGHWAY RECOMMENDATION
8. Discussion and possible approval: Estimate from Gibbs Construction in the amount of $10,965.00 for the interior demolition of the Webb Oil office building.
9. Discussion and possible approval: Estimate from Teddy Little in the amount of $27,500.00 for the removal and replacement of the metal exterior sides and roof of the Webb Oil office building.
10. Discussion and possible approval: To allow the posting of the following vehicles for sale by bid:
a. 2004 F-350 w/ 270,142 miles
b. 2005 F-150 Ext Cab w/ 166,920 miles
APPOINTMENTS
11. Approve the re-appointment of Dr. Brian D. Haeuber to the Hamilton County Board of Health for a (3) year term to expire April 30, 2027.
12. Approve the re-appointment of John Carrell to the Hamilton County Board of Health for a (1) year term to expire April 30, 2025
13. Approve the re-appointment of Robert Drake to the Hamilton County Water District for a (5) year term to expire April 30, 2029.
