There were 1,450 white students enrolled in Wabash County County schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1.8% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that white students made up 94.3% of the 1,538 students during the 2021-22 school year. They were the most represented ethnicity in the county schools.

Among the five schools in Wabash County County, Mount Carmel High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in 2021-22 school year, with a total of 452 students.
