State Senator Dale Fowler | Illinois State Senator
State Senator Dale Fowler of Harrisburg has been re-appointed as Assistant Republican Leader by Senate Republican Leader John Curran. This appointment comes as the 104th General Assembly begins its session.
"Senator Fowler is a relentless advocate for the people of Southern Illinois, working to create economic opportunities for our more rural communities," stated Leader Curran from Downers Grove. "His dedication to improving the lives of Southern Illinoisans, and his proven track record as an effective legislator make him a true leader in our Caucus. I am glad he will continue to use his skills and talents as a vital part of our leadership team."
Fowler has served in the Illinois Senate since 2017 and was previously the Mayor of Harrisburg. Outside his legislative duties, he works as a business development officer at Peoples National Bank in Harrisburg.

The 59th Senate District represented by Fowler includes areas within Alexander, Pulaski, Massac, Johnson, Pope, Union, Williamson, Saline, Hardin, Jackson, Franklin, White, Hamilton, and Gallatin counties.
