The Hamilton Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced the 20th Annual Scholarship Scramble Golf Outing, scheduled for June 6, 2025, at the McLeansboro Golf Course. The event aims to raise scholarship funds for local students pursuing healthcare careers.
Participants will compete in two rounds, with the morning session starting at 8:00 a.m. and the afternoon session beginning at 1:00 p.m. The outing is open to the first 18 teams that register by May 30, 2025.
Teams of four can enter starting at the Par Sponsor level for $300. Higher sponsorship levels are available, offering businesses and individuals opportunities to support this cause while gaining community visibility.
Lunch will be provided for all participants during a day focused on friendly competition and charitable giving.
Lindsay Hansen, Foundation Director, stated: “Over the years, the community’s support of the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Foundation has played a crucial role in helping us build a modern healthcare facility, acquire essential medical equipment, and offer scholarships to deserving students.” She added excitement about hosting this event again to invest in future healthcare professionals.
Proceeds from the outing will benefit graduating seniors from several local high schools and homeschool students aiming for careers in healthcare.
