White County Board considers reappointments.

The White County Board met Nov. 15 to consider reappointments. 

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the board:

1. Reconvene

2. Pledge of allegiance.

3. Roll call.

4. Adopt the budget for White County.

5. Adopt the Tax Levies for White County, Coleman rehabilitation, extension education, Egyptian health department.

6. Adjourn the September meeting

7. Roll call.

8. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting.

9. Approve payment of all current bills.

10. Report from County officers:

13. Consider the appointment of Ray Smith to a two year term on the Egyptian health department board.

14. Consider the re-appointment of Cindy Conley and Katherine Sands to the IllinoiSouth Tourism Board of Directors for a two year term.

15. Consider the January 1, 2017 renewal of the Workman's compensation policy with Illinois Public Risk Fund in the amount of $165,570. (To put the work comp out for bid Illinois Public Risk Fund had to be notified 90 days before the policy renewed. They did not receive out letter until October 7, 2016 which was late. Therefore if we accept the bid of another company we will also have to pay the premium set forth by IPRG.) Dan Free of Insurance Audit and Inspection suggested that we renew and if we were not satisfied what we start working on bidding it next year and notify IPRF within the 90 day window. The premium is actually $6542.00 less than last year and they are making a $21,097.00 grant available for new equipment for the county.

16. Consider bids for an excavator for the highway department

17. Consider HOPE trust quote for hospitalization insurance.

18. Consider resolution allowing CW Investments to collect the taxes on parcel #13-14-151-008. The actual period of redemption had expired in the clerk's office and an over the counter collection was made by Joseph Meyer and associates in the amount of $918.11.

19. Consider the appointment of Douglas E. Winter as commissioner to Randolph Drainage district #1 for a term that will expire on the first Tuesday in September 2019.

20. Consider the appointment of Owen Garner as commissioner to the Hawthorne drainage district #2 for a term that will expire on the first Tuesday in September 2019.

21. Consider the appointment of Terry West as commissioner to the Half moon drainage district for a term that will expire on the first Tuesday in September 2019.

22. Consider an ordinance establishing an enterprise zone within White county. (Also will include part of Edwards)

23. Consider an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Carmi, the City of Grayville, the City of Albion, the County of White.

24. Executive session.

25. Other business. (Next meeting Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.)
