White County Board reappoints commissioners

The White County Board met Feb. 14 to reappoint commissioners.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the board:

WHITE COUNTY BOARD AGENDA

February 14, 2017

7:00 p.m.

Roll Call.

Pledge of Allegiance.

Approve the minutes of the previous meeting.

Approve Payment of all current bills.

Report from County Officers:

County Clerk Circuit Clerk County Treasurer TB Officer

States Attorney County Engineer Sheriff Coroner

Supervisor of Assessments Ambulance 9-1- EMA

Visitors.

Communications.

Corbet Stover to address the Board about Drainage Districts.

Approve Bureau certification letter to approve Illinois outh Tourism as the state certified tourism bureau for White County.

Consider resolution to declare equipment in excess at the Highway Department.

Consider bid for fuel at the Ambulance, Highway Department and Sheriff Departments.

Consider resolution of support and commitment of funds for the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission.

Consider re-appointment of Steve Hartsock to a two year term on the Greater Wabash Regional Planning Commission.

Consider rescinding resolution setting juror compensation.

Consider resolution setting juror compensation to comply with current Statutes.

Consider contributions to Senior Citizens. (Grayville, Norris City, Enfield $900.00 and Carmi White County $4,500.00)

Mr. Chris Marsh, White County Coroner, stated that he has received his death surcharge monies. Mr. Marsh asked the County Board to trade his current pick-up truck plus the death surcharge grant monies for a new pick-up.
