White County Board met February 13. 

Here is the agenda as provided by the board:

1. Roll Call.

2. Pledge of Allegiance.

3. Approve the minutes of the previous meeting.

4. Approve payment of all current bills.

5. Report from County Officers:

8. Consider issuing a bureau certification letter in which White County continues to recognize

     ILLINOISouth Tourism as their “state certified tourism bureau.

9. Consider appointment of Charles Land to the White County Housing Authority Board to fill the

     vacancy created by the resignation of Judy Daubs.

10. Consider approval of the contract between White County and the Fraternal Order of Police for a

     4 year contract.

11. Consider contributions to the Carmi/White County, Norris City, Enfield, and Grayville Senior

     Centers. ( The contributions last year was Carmi/White County $4,500.00, $900.00 each for

     Norris City, Enfield and Grayville

12. Consider insulating the animal shelter.

13. Jade Money to discuss Clear Wave proposal for White County with the Board.

14. Discussion and approval of zoning for solar energy farms.(Tabled to April meeting)

15. Consider fuel bids for the Highway Department, Sheriff’s Department, Ambulance Service and

     Animal Control.

16. Transfer $100,000.00 from replacement tax funds to County Motor Fuel Unobligated for the

     purchase of rock for the County Highway Department

17. Award and execute contract documents for Section 12-08144-00-BR.

18. Federal Aid Agreement for Section 09-08141-00-BR, Indian Creek R.D. -4 miles SE of Norris City.

19. Preliminary Construction Engineering Agreement on Section 18-00128-00-GR a Guard Rail

     beginning 1700 ft. west of structure 097-3007 (Centerville Bridge and ending 1700 ft. East (4

     Miles North of Carmi.)

20. Consider partnering with the City of Carmi on their electronic recycling program.

21. Executive Session

22.. Consider acquisition of the White County Ambulance Service by Deaconess Illinois.
