White County Board Met April 13.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

A special meeting of the White County Board begun and holden in the Courtroom of the White County Courthouse, in the City of Carmi.

Chairman McAnulty called the meeting to order. Clerk Sell took roll call with Carter, Usery, Spencer, Pigg and McAnulty present.

Chairman McAnulty led everyone in the Pledge Of Allegiance.

Chairman McAnulty stated the first item on the agenda was to approve the minutes from the March 9th, 2021 meeting. Mr Usery made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Mrs. Pigg. Motion carried 5-0 on roll call.

Chairman McAnulty stated the next item on the agenda was to approve payment of all county bills. Mr. Carter made a motion to approve payment of the bills, seconded by Mr. Spencer. Motion carried 5-0 on roll call.

Chairman McAnulty asked for reports from County Officers. Ambulance Director Adam Allen stated they were in possession of the new ambulances. Allen stated they were stocked and waiting on the State inspection this coming Thursday. After a few days they should be ready to go out on the road. Sheriff Randy Graves submitted his report in writing. EMA Director Patrick Scates stated that the Emergency Operation Plan had been turned in but because of Covid-19 things had been a little behind. He stated the Regional Office has it and looking it over and once it seems good he will present it to the County Board. Scates also stated PPE has slowed down and the local schools are still taking some. Scates also stated that IEMA has stated they will be cutting back on supplying PPE and he will make sure the County has at least a 30 day supply on hand. Coroner Chris Marsh submitted his report in writing but did comment on a local man who was killed in a terrible accident and how the community had came together to offer help in funeral expenses and such. Marsh stated the people of White County came together in a time of crisis for one of their own.

Chairman McAnulty stated the next item on the agenda was to consider the appointment of Braden Willis to the Enfield Fire Protection Board to replace Steve Mitchell who passed away. Mr. Carter made the motion to appoint Braden Willis, seconded by Mr. Usery. Motion carried 5-0 on roll call.

Chairman McAnulty stated the next item on the agenda was to consider the approval of the permit by Invenergy LLC for a solar farm in White County. Mr. Carter made the motion to approve the permit, seconded by Mr. Spencer. Motion carried 5-0 on roll call.

Chairman McAnulty stated the next item on the agenda was to consider Resolution from County Tax Trustee for the following parcels: 01-20-309-001,002 - Everett Stanley for $816.00, 01-20 310-002 - Everett Stanley for $816.00, 01-20-328-007 - Shaun Reynolds for $2501.99, 19-01-236 001,002,003 - Shane Miller for $2700.00, 20-18-428-006 - Tracy L. Hines and George Dustin Winerberger for $4044.44, 20-18-428-008 - Tracy L. Hines and George Dustin Winerberger for $4044.44, 01-20-305-008, 009 - Everett Stanley for $815.00, 12-08-457-001,005 – Rebecca J. Flowers for $825.00, 12-08-491-004 - Thomas and Brenda Harbour for $821.00, 13-13-103-002- Larry M. Ward for $925.99, 13-13-103-006 - Larry M. Chairman McAnulty stated the next meeting will be May 11, 2021 at 7:00 P.M.

Chairman McAnulty asked for a motion to adjourn. Mr. Usery made the motion, seconded by Mr. Spencer. Motion carried 5-0 on roll call.
