Village of Smithton Committee of a Whole met Jan. 31.
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Mayor Smallwood called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm at Village Hall. Trustees Becherer, Rogers, Elbe, Hildreth, Mourey, and Hopkins were in attendance. Also in attendance was Chief Neff. Trustee Hildreth was absent.
BUDGET – The Board discussed the preliminary budget numbers. All Board members will continue to review the budget and there will be further discussion at upcoming meetings.`
Trustee Rogers made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Becherer to go into Executive Session. Motion was granted.
EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION PACKAGE – This was discussed in Executive Session.
Trustee Rogers made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Hopkins to adjourn. All were in favor. Motion was granted. Meeting adjourned at 9:11 pm.
