2. Road Improvement Program Update:
a. Dahlgren South Overlay 19-00 l 15-00-RS (STR FY2022)
i. 2" Asphalt Overlay 1725N to State Rt 14
ii. Construction Estimate: $850,000
iii. STR $692,000 / State Match $173,000
iv. Setting up an experimental section for the rubberized asphalt.
3. Pavement Preservation Program:
a. Planning for next year's project.
Other Business.
a. ICC 600E/1600N Rail Safety Project
1. Updating the Environmental Review, working on Preliminary Plan and ROW plan. Preliminary plan and profile sheets complete. Cross section sheets complete.
b. ICC Thackeray Road Rail Safety Project
i. The ICC has contacted me about getting estimates together for the approach work to improve this RR crossing. (no change)
c. New Highway facility:
i. Andy Kelly is still working on connecting the power from the theft. I met with him to estimate what it will take to complete the work. We received $67,500 from the insurance company and are currently at $24,644 with some unbilled time. Andy feels he can complete the work in the east working on breakroom wiring currently.
ii. Dustin Parmley & Parks Plumbing current working on:
I. removing paneling from office $16,946 (finished)
2. restroom and breakroom in the office building ($24,796). Bids for:
3. connect the two pole bldgs, replace gutter on middle bldg and brace posts ($6500}
4. finish the lower office in east bldg., replace plumbing and fix restroom, cut floor and install plumbing drain from office and install drain in existing trench drain ($8,000 + $10,540)
5. getting second bid to pour concrete floor in the north end of west building: $21 ,300 8te1,'eAs CoAcrete (Stevens went back to work and isn't interested)/ $32,000 Knapp Concrete.
6. Darrel Kiefer overhead door operators quote for (2) overhead doors and (4) operators $18,032.
7. Parmley to quote patching two places in shingle roof that have leaked adding 12'xl4' storage room for archived files.
8. Slay Restoration quote to treat attic over west offices $3200.
d. New Backhoe - New backhoe will be delivered Tuesday 7/20/21.
e. E91 I signs:
i. Aaron is estimating $9500 for replacing Rd Name signs. Road Commissioners are willing to help replace the signs.
