Hamilton Memorial Hospital Foundation has opened nominations for its annual Distinguished Health Care Provider of the Year Award. The award aims to recognize individuals or groups, either living or deceased, who have had a significant and lasting effect on health and welfare in the communities served by Hamilton Memorial Hospital.
According to the foundation, eligible nominees are those who have shown excellence in health care through compassionate service, innovation, and dedication to improving patient care and public understanding of health and wellness. Community members are invited to nominate candidates who have worked to improve patient care quality, contributed notably to public health education or advocacy, or demonstrated a lifelong commitment to advancing health and wellness in the region.

The recipient of the 2025 Distinguished Health Care Provider of the Year Award will be announced at the 24th Annual Hamilton Memorial Foundation Gala Dinner on November 22, 2025.
