Anne West Lindsey District Library Board of Trustees met Thursday, June 2.

Anne West Lindsey District Library Board of Trustees Special Meeting June 2, 2016 – 4:00 pm
All board members were present except Jim Koonce. Staff member attending was Mary Stoner.
The meeting was called to order at 4 p.m. by board president, Bill Slider and a quorum was determined.
The agenda was approved with a motion made by Sheri Hunter; seconded by Butch Waggoner.
A motion was made by Butch Waggoner; seconded by Debbie Johnson to continue to retain Phil Lenzini as the library’s lawyer. The board was informed that there would be an increase in fees of up to $150.00 for
document preparation.
A motion was made by Elaine Miskell; seconded by Pat Searcy to keep the library’s non-resident fee at $80.00 per year.
A motion was made by Butch Waggoner; seconded by Debbie Johnson to go into closed session to discuss salaries.
A motion was made by Debbie Johnson; seconded by Butch Waggoner to move each YEARLY maintenance contract from the MAINTENANCE category to the CONTRACTUAL category in the budget.
A motion was made by Butch Waggoner; seconded by Elaine Miscall to approve the proposed 2016-2017 budget.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:10 pm with a motion made by Pat
Searcy; seconded by Debbie Johnson.
The next scheduled board meeting will be at 7 pm on Tuesday, June 28.
