Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Hamilton County?

There were three offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Hamilton County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by SE Illinois News.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Hamilton County were men. The median age of the parolees was 33. The youngest parolee was a 28-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2019, and the oldest was a 40-year-old man sentenced in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Charles S. Moore. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2017 when he was 28 years old. He is now 30.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each Hamilton County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
